Some of her titles include the award-winning What I Like About You, bestseller Cat Confessions: A Kitty Come Clean Tell All Book, and The Joy of Being Fifty, illustrated by New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast. Nolan is a former Senior Editor of Religious Books at Reader’s Digest Children’s Publishing. Mamas & Mimosas takes place on Mother’s Day weekend with the aim to celebrate all women. There will be over a dozen Connecticut handmade artisans, live music, workshops, along with unlimited coffee and yup, mimosas! The event begins at 10:00am and ends at 2:00pm. Celebrate Shelton is an initiative focusing on small businesses and the community that surrounds them. Started in 2014 by Michael Skrtic, Nicole Heriot-Mikula and Jimmy Tickey, Celebrate Shelton’s events are always family-friendly and highly anticipated. Adam’s House is a grief counseling center in a home-like setting for children and families, supported by The Adam Wysota Foundation. All programs are offered at no cost. Partial proceeds of Mamas & Mimosas will benefit Adam’s House. It is located at 241 Coram Avenue, Shelton, Connecticut. Parking is available at an adjacent parking lot and on the street.
